Phlebotomy Blood Draws in NYC

Manhattan Physician’s Office Performs Phlebotomy Work In-House

At our clinic, the patient always comes first and that is why we ensure that our staff is well-trained and qualified to do their job. Your blood will be drawn by a professional phlebotomist who not only has the intelligence level to do his job right but who also has excellent social skills and is both understanding and emphatic toward them. We promise you that even if you are nervous about the blood test, our staff will be able to put you at ease and will ensure you have minimum discomfort. We know that relating with the patient is a skill in itself and we will ensure we do it right for you.

Our well-equipped and well-staffed laboratory will ensure you have your results in no time. Test results are automatically recorded in the clinic’s medical computer system so that your health record is up-to-date and your doctor can refer back to your file anytime they need to do so. All follow-up consultations and medical services will be provided to you in a timely and swift manner depending on the results of your blood test.

NYC Internist, Dr. Marina Gafanovich, wants you to know that here at her NY Doctor’s offices we understand that many of our patients have sincere needle aversion.  This does not make you a “chicken”.  There are hard-core military veterans who have been to Iraq and back that hate having blood drawn.  Our phlebotomy team is well-aware that this is not a procedure welcomed by anyone, so we do our best to make the entire experience as quick, calm, and as “forgettable” as possible.

Our trained phlebotomists are able to perform:

  • Venipuncture
  • Fingersticks
  • Heel sticks
  • Arterial blood sample collection

All of our phlebotomy is performed right here in our Upper East Side doctor’s offices, so there is no need to go anywhere else for your labwork.

As always, our office is equipped to handle any situation and work with any phobias or fears that you may have. Call (212) 249-6218 to schedule your appointment with Dr. Marina Gafanovich, MD.
